Anime Tattoos: Why I’m Excited to Do More of Them

Lately, I’ve found myself feeling more and more drawn to creating anime pieces. Not just here and there, but intentionally making space for them in my work. There’s a level of creativity in anime tattoos that I genuinely enjoy. Each piece has the potential to be expressive, bold, and full of personality in a way that feels alive on the skin.

What I love most is the ability to take something that already means a lot to someone and turn it into something even more personal. It’s not just about the character itself, but about how it’s designed, how it flows with the body, and how it feels once it becomes part of you. That process is where I get the most excited. Building something that feels intentional and unique instead of just placing an image on the skin.

I offer both black and grey and color for anime tattoos, and I genuinely enjoy working in both. Black and grey can create something really clean and timeless, especially when the focus is on linework and contrast. Color opens up a completely different direction. It allows the piece to feel vibrant, expressive, and full of life. Both options have their own energy, and I like helping people figure out which one fits their idea best.

If anime has been something that’s inspired you, comforted you, or stayed with you over time, I would love to turn that into something you can wear. You don’t need to have the full idea figured out. Even just a character or a feeling is enough to start.

This is something I want to do more of, and I’m excited to keep creating pieces that reflect that.
